This year the World Padel Tour 2020 has been held, from November 1 to 8 in Alicante. The pre-preliminary and preliminary elimination phases, feminine and masculine, took place from day 1 to 3 at Club Blu Padel in Alicante, a center where MG Electricidad is a sponsor of one of the main courts, where the lighting designed and manufactured by Enrique Ferrer Plaza.
The final rounds of the tournament were played from Wednesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 8, at the Center for Sports Modernization in Alicante, at El Pabellón Pedro Ferrándiz. The winning couples were LucÃa Sainz and Gemma Triay for the women’s team, defeating the best couple of 2019, Marta Ortega and Marta Marrero, in a match of more than two hours that was resolved 2-6, 7-6 and 6- 3. And on the men’s side, Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán raised the title, ratifying their superiority this season, beating Sanyo GutÃérrez and Stupaczuk, as was the case in the final of the Barcelona Masters, in a much more disputed match than the previous one and with a Spectacular level on both sides, which ended 4-6, 6-3 and 6-4.
