Designed for the “Texas” series nut scalder, this installation manages a throughput of 5,000 kg/h, balancing high-speed production with surgical thermal precision and automated fluid handling.

Strategic Control & IO-Link Integration

The core of our electrical control panel design is built on a high-reliability Siemens architecture, ensuring the pneumatic electric control system operates with maximum efficiency:

  • Logic & Drive Control: Integration of Siemens VFDs to regulate the 1.10 kW gear motor, synchronized via Encoder for perfect product transit timing.

  • IO-Link Sensor Integration: We implemented IO-Link technology for the PT-100 temperature probes and magnetic flowmeters. This allows for digital, noise-free data transmission and advanced diagnostics, essential for modern industrial controls.

  • Electropneumatic Interface: The system manages a complex network of pneumatic valves and dual-coil cylinders that orchestrate the water flow, automated filling, and mechanical gates of the scalder.

 

Hygiene and Global Compliance

Designed for a “wash-down” environment, the installation adheres to the highest sanitary and safety standards:

  • Sanitary Infrastructure: All cabling is secured in stainless steel Rejiband trays to prevent organic accumulation and facilitate rigorous cleaning.

  • Automated CIP (Cleaning In Place): The pneumatic electric control system includes dedicated logic for automated cleaning cycles, managing internal spray balls and drainage to ensure food safety compliance.

  • CE Mark Certification: To support international operations, every component and assembly phase meets the criteria for the CE mark, guaranteeing electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.
